Brandon Yancar Hubbard, OH I got into the sport in 2003 when my dad bought me a Traxxas Stampede. For about 2 years, I just was messing around. In 2005, I had my first real race at Have Fun Hobbies. I ran against XXXT’s and T4s. I got third in the 1st two heats and then in the main...I won! From there, I really got into it. After about a year, I got a Team Losi XXX-T MF1. It took me some time to get used to it but when I did, I was hard to beat. Tom Mcausland and I would always go at it. After some real fun with the truck, I tried a XXX 2wd buggy, except it didn’t really take a while to get used to. I won about 3 first place trophies for 2wd. I went back to my truck but it was falling apart so for Christmas I got a XXX-T CR. I loved that car and I still do. I won a lot more races with it. Early in 09, I went to my first CRCRC race. I didn’t race but I watched. My idol for racing is Jared Tebo. He’s smooth and doesn’t wreck. I tried 4wd but my truck skills were drifting away so I’m back to the truck. And still today I am enjoying this sport! Photo Gallery
