I started my R/C mania around 1985 with an Associated RC 10 Gold Pan. I raced it at Allcraft for a few years on the dirt oval and did some carpet oval too, but I got out it sometime around 1988.
I bought a bow and shot competitively until 1997, when I turned my focus to hand guns. My hand gun run ended in 2001.
After hand guns, I turned to model airplanes and tried flying until 2004 when I got tired of crashing the dam things. So, I did the only logical next step, and turned to slot cars. I raced 1/24th scale and 1/32 scale slot cars until about 2007. It was at that time that I opened my big mouth to the owner of a local hobby shop
about building a dirt R/C race track. Not really knowing how to myself,
but knowing more than he did, I got roped in to being a part of it.
Nevertheless, I’m having FUN with all of it anyway!
