Paul Sinclair

Paul Sinclair is a 24 year old native of Northwest Ohio.  He currently works as the chief engineer and team manager for X Factory R/C, designing, testing, and improving the most successful mid-motored cars on the planet.  Paul races throughout the Midwest region as often as he can as well as making it to most of the major electric off-road races around the US.  He annually attends the CRCRC Mid-winter, Cactus Classic, Hot Rod Shootout, JConcepts Clash, and the ROAR Nationals.  Recent notable finishes include 14th at the 2009 US Nationals (Modified Truck), 4th at the 2008 JConcepts Clash (2wd Modified), and 52nd at the 2005 IFMAR World Championships (4wd modified).

Paul began racing back in 1997 with a first-generation Team Losi xx4 and quickly expanded to all three 1/10th electric off-road classes.  As college began in 2003 down in Tennessee, he and his father began X Factory R/C racing, first making the X - 5 4wd buggy and then expanding with the X - 6 and X - 60 2wd and truck.  Graduating in May of 2009 with his Masters' Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Paul moved back to the Northwest Ohio area and is now working and racing full time.  His current sponsors include X Factory, Novak Electronics, SMC Batteries, Kolors By Kropy Paint, Vinyl Graphics Unlimited, Lunsford, MIP, RACER Magazine, and of course now B-FAST R/C Performance.  He loves talking with new and old racers a-like, so feel free to approach him if you see him and say 'hi!'
